Insight dims and we are far from it

And with that, the probe sent back the last look from a desolate world.

Insight, dimming in the cosmos, we look up and seek the red dot to which we sent our brave machine vanguard, wondering when or if we’ll find that place: the valley where Insight dims nestled between broken remains of the volcanic cauldrons that formed the land. The human feet that may walk to Insight have likely not been born, but surely as the sun rises: they will find it.

Possibly the last image from Mars Insight, as the lander is almost out of power.
