A storm was coming. And a pickup truck driver stopped by and offered to give a ride, which was declined because “god will save me.”

The rain started. Flooding began. A boat came by and they offered to give a ride, which was declined because “god will save me.”

The floodwaters rose. A helicopter flew by and they too offered to pull them up, fly them to safety, which was declined because “god will save me.”

They drowned. “God, why did you not save me?”

“I sent you a truck, a boat and a helicopter.”
